Up, Up and Away3d

This site was made using Away3D, Flash and Actionscript 3.

An experiment of sorts, it was created to learn how far 3D for the web had advanced since we last looked at it some years back . Production in 3D for motion graphics output was already an established part of our toolset, the challenge would be in discovering how the emerging web version would fit into the existing workflow and most importantly what its current limitations were in terms of creativity and performance. Without knowing these, maintaining a cohesive concept was hard, so we found it best to adapt our ideas to the learning curve. We're very happy with the results. 3D for the web is going to be a leading area of development for us on future projects and this site has only just scratched the surface of what you can do with it.
